I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.

  1. Isn’t it interesting that the two words that seem most often to modify “contentment” are “quiet” and “filled”? If I had to choose between “filled with quiet contentment” and just plain happy, I’d go for contentment every time.

The photo is such a marvelous choice – beautifully sandwiched in between the title and the quotation.

  2. Thank you, Linda.

To be content is something that many people don’t seem to have anymore. Matthew and I live a simple lifestyle. We do not have much materially and sometimes, we struggle to make ends meet. But we are content and happily in love with each other. πŸ™‚
