  1. I haven’t read the book, but a friend and I have the film on our to-see list. She has Netflix and Amazon, so we don’t even have to go to a theater. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve heard very good things.

    And that quotation is so compelling. It’s also true.

  2. I haven’t read the book, too, Linda. But I saw the movie. Set in World War II, Nazi Germany, it’s essentially a story about family, friendship, love and the resiliency of the human spirit. It’s also a story of how books can bring comfort, strength, and inspiration, especially during challenging and trying times. A movie that book-lovers will love…
