  1. It almost seems an insult to leave a comment as even the written word seems to break the perfect silence. I think it was Brother Lawrence who said “it is best not to speak unless one can improve upon the silence….”

  2. I agree, Senan. It is quite a challenge to improve on this, because in the words of St.John of the Cross:

    Silence is God’s first language.

    And it is only in silence that God can communicate to us deeply, clarifying His presence and love for us…
